The Best To Worst: We Rate The Dresses From ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 4 And More

Emily-In-Paris-Season-4

Emily Cooper is back in Paris – and her fashion antics are, to put it mildly, all over the place. Renewed on Netflix for Season 4 on August 15, 2024, the show is no doubt an instant mood booster. Packed with romance, drama, exquisite food, scenery, and swanky fashion, the new season of ‘Emily In Paris’ made us fall in l’amour even more with the City of Love. Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins arguably represents how an American woman would work and dress in Paris. Since Season 1, our gal has been bold, loud, and colourful with her styles, love, and life in general. This season, Miss Cooper is seen reinterpreting the world-famous Parisian fashion codes (even more than before). Watch the trailer, here.

Besides the original cast of Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, if you ask us, the audacious and eccentric wardrobe of Emily is the real show stealer – and, our favs, we have so much to discuss. Emily has never been shy with her outfits. Mixed colours, bizarre patterns, camera phone case, silhouettes, and quaint handbags, added even more drama to the show. This new season, we said bonjour to the black and white striped catsuit, faux-fur hat and sweater, and many homages to Audrey Hepburn.

Best Outfits In Our Opinion

Love Some Monochrome Magic

In Season 4, Emily added shades of yellow to her monochrome magic ensemble. From Marlene Birger’s ruffled blouse to Isabel Marant’s corduroy skirt to a wax jacket from Possery, she went all out with this bold colour. Very Tres chic.

Blue Casual Chic

In Season 4, Ms. Cooper embraced the businesswoman inside her. She wore a cobalt blue La Redoute blazer paired with trousers of the same colour. The girl boss finished her look with a Pierre Hardy handbag and Rabanne pointed-toe boots.

Frills All The Way

In Season 4, our Miss America brought a little pop of green and frills to her workplace. She nailed her look with a scarab-print blouse from La Double J and a pair of green leather Manokhi shorts.

Pink Pop

In Season 4, Emily Cooper added bright colours to her office looks. She wore a baby-pink Jacquemus cardigan on top of a Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini romper and completed the look with a Kate Spade Manhattan Gingham Tweed Fabric Small Tote. Snag it here.

Classic Old Money Vibes

In Season 4 Part 2, Em carried the classic old money vibes just fine. She truly impressed us with her designer choice of a vintage Alaïa vintage skirt, a white blouse, and customized Tara Jarmon checkered jacket a silk scarf, paired with Saint Laurent purse and Gianvito Rossi point toe.

The Worst (Sorry, Em)

Stripes Could Go Wrong

In Season 4, Emily served up an Audrey Hepburn-inspired ensemble at a masquerade ball. Dressed in a head-to-toe striped bodysuit, she completed her look with a huge black hat and a lace eye mask.

Sweater Mistake

In Season 4, Emily showed up at the Kadience event wearing a SixDo spring 2024 feathered skirt paired with a red and black striped Sonia Rykiel sweater.

Morning Fails

In Season 4, Emily Cooper gagged us all when she showed up in a colorful running outfit. She wore a bizarre floral vest with Salomon running shoes. Girl, stop.

Victorian Flop

In Season 4, Emily’s Victorian-era-inspired outfit went so wrong. She wore a black-and-white wool Andrew Gn coat paired with a yellow-and-black corset dress and a ruffled white shirt underneath. She finished the look with a yellow bowtie.

“Too much” With The Coat

In Season 4 Part 2, Emily Cooper’s suit look screamed “extra” with a jacket, a white shirt, skinny pants, a necktie, a black and white trench coat, stiletto boots, and a YSL bucket bag.

Despite how Ms. Copper dressed this new season, she still managed to stay, “Very demure. Very mindful. Very cutesy.”
