You won’t believe what went down at Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in. The show had a stunning courtyard, a sudden rain shower, and a vibe that’s straight-up retro. Anthony Vaccarello, the main man behind the brand, took us on a wild trip back to the 80s, with sexy silhouettes that served major power moves. The leather jackets and oversized suits were screamed business, if Wall Street had a runway, this would be it.

The collection was a homage to Yves Saint Laurent himself. The show was filled with celebs, including Rami Malek and Anna Wintour, sitting front row, and you could practically hear them gasp as models walked by in those jaw-dropping outfits. Models like Iris Law, Carla Bruni, Lila Moss, and Jasmine Tookes were in presence. The show beautifully balanced heavy masculinity with feminine flair, and trust us when we say that this collection is everything you need for a fierce fall wardrobe.

A Retro Vibe That Hit Different

Anthony Vaccarello brought back the iconic 80s shoulder pads, and yes, they were fabulous. Models slayed structured, wide jackets that would make anyone feel like a boss babe. The color palette? Bold colour blocking—deep oranges with vibrant teals including Royal blue, and plum purples kissing forest and lime greens—the perfect wardrobe refresh, if you ask us.

The first half of the show featured a lot of baggy, beige, gray, and black suits, but the leather bomber jackets—oh, they were to die for. Each outfit was planned in anticipation of the subtle balance of masculine elements on models who aced in their femininity. It was like watching a fashion revolution laid right before our eyes. Vaccarello knows how to fuse the old with the new, making it all look effortlessly chic. Who knew a trip to the 80s could feel so fresh? Well, here we are.

Saint Laurent’s Bold Night Out

If you think the party’s over, let us stop you right there. As the show progressed, it turned up the heat. The second half was all about glitter and glam. Think sparkly mesh dresses paired with ruffled turtlenecks that had those exaggerated clown collars. Yes, you read that right—clown collars! We would also like to take a note of the cropped floral coats. They were shining under the lights like they were made for a night out in Paris. The eveningwear collection was such a mood, with dresses fitting perfectly in all the right spots. The colours popped, bringing life to the runway—think golds and greens colliding with deep reds. Vaccarello showed that the Saint Laurent woman is all about that power, but she also knows how to party. Each piece was a nod to the artsy side of life, echoing Yves’ creative spirit and honestly, they ate and left no crumbs. That’s YSL for you.
