At the Foot of the Italian Alps, Feuerstein Nature Family Resort Opens a New Season of Innovation

In the unspoiled heart of the Pflerschtal (Val di Fleres), at the foot of Mount Tribulaun, the Feuerstein Nature Family Resort has begun the new year by strengthening its identity as a five-star resort designed for the authentic well-being of the entire family. Here, where nature takes center stage and time seems to find a more human rhythm, hospitality evolves without losing its soul.

The attention devoted to children — always a hallmark of Feuerstein — is enriched with the opening of a new indoor area dedicated to play and discovery. The spaces are designed as a true experiential journey, inspired by the Montessori philosophy, where every element stimulates curiosity, autonomy, and creativity. The Baby & Mini Room welcomes the youngest guests in a bright and welcoming environment, featuring natural wood furnishings, educational toys, and a Frechling® Flitzer toy car track, made entirely from sustainable materials. There is also a two-level dollhouse, a miniature supermarket with wooden carts and products, a creative corner for painting and building, and a relaxation zone designed for slowing down, reading, or simply resting.

But the real standout of the Feuerstein Nature Family Resort is the attention devoted to teenagers — an age group often overlooked by traditional hospitality, caught between the world of children and that of adults. Here, instead, young guests find spaces designed just for them, where they can feel like protagonists and free to challenge themselves. For older children — and for adults who love movement and challenge — the resort has created a dynamic Action Room, where fun meets physical activity. A Ninja Warrior course tests agility, endurance, and concentration; the interactive iWall stimulates coordination, reflexes, and competitive spirit; while the ValoJump merges a trampoline with the world of digital gaming, turning movement into an immersive experience. Just steps away, an indoor padel court rounds out the sports offering, with the possibility of organizing matches and meeting new playing partners through a dedicated community, managed directly by the resort’s team.

These new experiences blend harmoniously with Feuerstein’s already iconic activities: the large play barn, the board game rooms, the sand room, the equipped riding arena, and the educational farm, where children can meet alpacas, donkeys, goats, sheep, and other animals. During the warmer months, outdoor life is further enriched by a new outdoor pool, inspired by an alpine lake, immersed in the silence and beauty of the mountain landscape.

The resort also looks to the needs of contemporary parents, who often bring their work along even on vacation. To this end, panoramic workstations have been created, along with private offices equipped for remote working, as well as a large meeting room designed for corporate gatherings and professional retreats. Leisure time also extends to shopping, thanks to the resort’s new concept store: a curated space where guests can purchase Montessori wooden toys, children’s books, water bottles, and a delicate baby beauty line by Feuerstein, developed in collaboration with a local pharmacist.

A major highlight of this new season is also the cuisine, which is being refreshed with the arrival of executive chef Andrea Moccia. Of Campanian origins but with extensive experience gained in Trentino-Alto Adige, the chef brings to Feuerstein a gastronomic vision that celebrates tradition, the quality of local ingredients, and a solid technique open to carefully selected influences. The offering accompanies guests from breakfast to dinner: curated buffets for breakfast and lunch, while in the evening, the menu is served as a five-course formula that changes daily.

Moccia has also been entrusted with the renewed momentum of the gourmet restaurant Artifex, the resort’s crown jewel. In an intimate and luminous setting, with just four tables, guests can choose between two six-course tasting menus — Altitudine and Giro del Mondo — or place themselves entirely in the chef’s hands with an eight-course surprise menu. Once a week, on Fridays, children can also enjoy the gourmet experience, with a dedicated menu designed to introduce them to haute cuisine in a playful and mindful way.

A stay at Feuerstein is completed by the Mountain Spa experience, an area of over 3,000 square meters dedicated to wellness. Here guests will find four pools, a large water slide, a Family Sauna for relaxing together, and a refined Adults Only area spread across three levels, featuring panoramic saunas, silent rooms, and a rooftop with a hot tub and ice pool overlooking the mountains.
