Ferrari just dropped a bombshell, and it’s the hottest new ride. Meet the F80—the latest beast in their lineup, and it’s already making waves. With a starting price of $3.9 million, this ride is as exclusive as possible, so we’re talking limited edition status. Demand is through the roof, with three times as many requests as cars. Owning an F80 is a big deal and here’s what we know so far.

This hypercar is limited to just 799 units worldwide, and if you may have guessed, all of them are already up for grabs. Yeah—no waiting in line for this hot rod, but what makes the F80 so special? It’s not just about the looks (although it’s stunning). We’re talking about a mind-blowing 1,200 horsepower. Forget V-12 or V-8 engines; this baby’s rocking a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 and three electric motors.

The Ferrari F80 is officially the brand’s most powerful road car ever. Combining cutting-edge technology from its Le Mans-winning 499P and Formula 1 race cars, it goes from 0 to 60 mph in about two seconds. Now, isn’t that sick?

Hybrid Powerhouse

Let’s start with the heart of the beast: the powertrain. The F80 is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing over 900 BHP on its own. With the hybrid system, total power output reaches an astonishing 1,200 BHP.  The setup includes three electric motors—one on each front wheel and one at the rear, acting as the MGU-K. This is also the first Ferrari to feature ‘e-turbos.’ The hybrid powertrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission for seamless shifting.

Lightning-Fast Performance

Ferrari claims the F80 can rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.15 seconds and reach 0 to 200 km/h in 5.75 seconds. It’s capable of hitting a top speed of 349 km/h, making it one of the fastest cars on the road.

Eye-Catching Design

This car is a total showstopper when it comes to looks. The F80 rocks those stunning butterfly doors (such an icon), a prized feature for many car enthusiasts alike. Inside, the driver’s seat is positioned slightly ahead of the passenger’s. It features ultra-light 3D-printed parts, which not only look awesome but also boost speed and efficiency. It sports sleek headlights and a black panel reminiscent of the 12Cilindri model. Inspired by the 499P, the F80 features an ‘S-duct’ along with large barge boards from its F1 lineage.

Rolling on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear carbon fiber wheels, this hyper car also has plenty of aero ducts, a massive diffuser, and an active rear wing. Ferrari claims it can generate a jaw-dropping 1,000 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.

Aerodynamic Masterpiece

The F80 features a really smart active suspension system. It adjusts on the fly, smoothing out bumps and corners so you stay comfy while flying down the road. At low speeds, it keeps everything balanced, and when you hit the gas, it lowers the car for slicker aerodynamics.

Lightweight Construction

The F80 has a full carbon fiber monocoque, with aluminum front and rear sub-frames for added strength without the weight. Plus, it incorporates hollow structures that serve as cooling ducts for the brakes. The active suspension features a double wishbone setup that’s created using innovative 3D printing.

Unique Interior

The cabin of the F80 is all about the driver. Inspired by a single-seat racer, it has a cockpit feel similar to a Formula 1 car, making the driver the clear focus. The layout is super driver-centric, with everything, from the controls to the instrument panel, angled towards them.

The passenger seat is tucked back and nearly blends into the cabin trim, thanks to clever use of different materials and colors. To make the interior feel tighter and more compact without sacrificing comfort, the passenger seat is positioned slightly behind the driver’s. This also helps shrink the car’s overall width. The new steering wheel is smaller, with a flat top and bottom, and a smaller center hub for better visibility. The grips are designed for better handling, whether you’re wearing gloves or not. Plus, the physical buttons on the steering wheel are back, replacing the digital setup, so it’s easier to control things on the fly. A beauty, isn’t she?
