Surrounded by the tranquil ambiance of the luxuriously lit kitchen, with the culinary team gracefully moving in the background, having arrived early, we fell into the prime position to witness the beginning of a rather anticipated evening, and witness the meticulous preparation of the fish.
The Sushi Master effortlessly showcased his 25 years of expertise as he presented a stunning 2-kilogram bowl of rice. The evening commenced with an exquisite selection of sashimi, featuring Spanish sea bass and salmon sourced fresh from Norway.

We watched in awe as the MasterChef called out to his assistant, “Bring me the blowtorch.” Moments later, we were handed a beautiful assortment of perfectly charred salmon. While it was delicious, nothing quite matched our favorite sashimi of the evening: the sea bass with lime juice and a touch of chili and freshly grated wasabi.
As the second half of the evening unfolded, we eagerly rolled up our sleeves to embark on the delightful journey of creating our own sushi. We crafted both nigiri and a variety of maki, including the beloved Western classic. The rice, having soaked for two hours, was finally ready for action, blended with a nutty vinaigrette that truly elevated its flavour and texture. Among our creations, Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay’s Salmon and Avocado Maki stood out as a timeless favorite, beautifully balanced by a side of Soy sauce.
