Casino

A true classic! The Casino cocktail drink first came to light around 1909. Laced with the flavours of gin, maraschino liqueur, orange bitters, and lemon juice, this drink is everything you need to warm yourself up on a chilly autumn evening. Here are the ingredients you need to make it at home.

Ingredients:

44ml – London Dry gin

15ml – Maraschino liqueur

7ml  – lemon juice

4 dashes of orange bitters

Maraschino cherry garnish

Fall Harvest Bloody Mary 

Bolstered with warm spices, the Fall Harvest Bloody Mary is everything sweet, spicy, and tangy. It has lemon juice, apple cider, tomato juice, and vodka, making it the best fall beverage on all fronts. Get the following ingredients to make your own.

Ingredients: 

2 cups tomato juice

3/4 cup unfiltered apple cider 

118ml  – vodka

2 Tbsp – fresh lemon juice

2 Tbsp – pickle juice

2 tsp – freshly grated ginger

1 to 2 tsp – hot sauce 

1 tsp – pumpkin pie spice

1/2 tsp – kosher salt

1/2 tsp – ground black pepper

Pinch of cayenne pepper

Garnish with apple slices, cherry tomatoes, olives, and lemon wedges

Autumn Daiquiri

An Autumn Daiquiri is a drink that doesn’t specifically use fall ingredients like pumpkin or apple but spices. The spiced simple syrup adds a distinct flavour to the white rum and lime juice, making it a delicious blend. The following ingredients are all you need to make it at home.

Ingredients:

60ml  – White Rum

15ml  – lime juice

15ml – pineapple juice

15ml – spiced simple syrup

Garnish with a sprig of rosemary or a cinnamon stick

Agal 

Agal is a Kokum aka Garcinia indica-based cocktail. The vodka, cranberry, and lime juice make it a delightfully dark-flavoured packed drink to have on a fun evening with friends. Think, an adult variant of the kala khatta.

Ingredients:

60ml – Vodka

30ml- Cranberry juice

30ml – Kokum syrup

25ml – Lime juice

Pinch of black salt

Top up with sprite

Smooth Operator

Loaded with delicious flavours, a cocktail cannot get any smoother than this. The caramel syrup adds a hint of sweetness to the rich Kahlua liqueur and gin.

45ml – Gin 

15ml – Kahlua 

10ml – Caramel syrup

20ml – Lemon juice 

2 to 3 drops – Vegan foamier 

Method:

Layer all the ingredients into a Boston shaker then shake with ice cubes for 8 minutes.

Double-stain into a wine goblet.

60ml  – light rum

30ml – coconut cream

30ml – pineapple juice

7ml – nutmeg syrup

Pinch of cinnamon

Ingredients:

60ml – Fig & Vodka  

30ml – Fresh cucumber juice

10ml – Star anise syrup 

3 drops – Stillabunt 

10ml – Lime juice 

3ml – Angostura bitters

Method:

Add all the ingredients in a cobbler shaker.

Shake well and serve in a cocktail glass.

Garnish with grated nutmeg.
