This October, the celebrated culinary legacy of Jamavar arrives at Diya, The Leela Gandhinagar, for a three-day showcase (Oct 23-25, 2026) celebrating the depth, diversity and artistry of Indian cuisine. Since its debut at The Leela Palace Bengaluru in 2001, Jamavar has built a distinguished reputation for its interpretation of India’s regional culinary traditions, bringing together treasured recipes, meticulous craftsmanship and the understated elegance of fine dining. Over the years, the restaurant has earned recognition across the industry, including a place on Forbes’ World’s Top 10 Power Dining Spots in 2018 and multiple Times Food Awards, cementing its position among India’s most acclaimed destinations for Indian gastronomy.

For its Gandhinagar showcase, Chef Jasbeer and the culinary team from The Leela Palace Bengaluru will present specially curated vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus, alongside a selection of signature à la carte dishes. The offering brings Jamavar’s established culinary philosophy to a new setting, with a focus on flavour, technique and the nuances of India’s diverse regional kitchens.

Among the highlights are the signature Dal-e-Jamavar, a much-loved expression of the restaurant’s culinary identity; Khumb Ki Galawat, which reimagines the delicacy of the traditional galawat; and Bharwan Gucchi, showcasing the finesse of ingredient-led Indian cooking. The experience concludes on an indulgent note with Bharwan Gulab Jamun, a distinctive take on a beloved Indian dessert.

At Diya, the showcase finds a fitting setting in the polished surrounds of The Leela Gandhinagar, where thoughtful hospitality and an elegant dining atmosphere complement the menu. For three days, the collaboration offers diners an opportunity to experience Jamavar’s celebrated approach to Indian fine dining without leaving Gandhinagar — a meeting of regional culinary heritage, considered technique and contemporary luxury.
