With over 250 designers strutting their latest creations, London Fashion Week’s catwalk was a parade of eye-popping styles and bold moves. As the week drew to a close and LFW sashayed into its 40s, all eyes were on one iconic name, BURBERRY. Hosted in the historic Southbank’s National Theatre, the event cemented Burberry’s latest collection while giving the venue an artistic makeover.
Burberry Took Center Stage with Grand Designs
Burberry made a splash by choosing a venue with a storied past for their latest show. The theatre, known for its Brutalist style, was rendered a modern touch thanks to artist Gary Hume, who draped the stage in a vibrant teal fabric. The result? A setting that made for an unforgettable fashion spectacle.
Daniel Lee, Burberry’s creative director since 2022, blended nostalgia and innovation in his latest collection. He turned the classic trench coat into a cool cape and brought back the cargo pants. The collection had feathers, sequins, and ruffles on sturdy fabrics, creating a look that’s both elegant and practical.
The classic Burberry checkers made a subtle appearance, a nod to the brand’s history while keeping things fresh. The designer kept things low-key with subtle shades, letting classic details sneak in through skinny scarves, belts, and bags. Let’s not forget the British fashion royalty, Edie Campbell and Lily Donaldson, gracing the runway.
Star-Studded Front Row at Burberry’s Showcase
Scheduled on the final day of London Fashion Week, Burberry’s Summer 2025 show attracted a bevy of stars, making it the hottest ticket in town. Barry Keoghan and Jodie Turner-Smith were among the A-list attendees, each making their own fashion statement. Turner-Smith stole the show in a Burberry check kilt with a thigh-high slit that could have caused a few dropped jaws. She paired it with a cool leather jacket and matching ankle boots, and her deep green handbag was cherry on the cake.
Keoghan kept it sleek in an all-white outfit, complete with a puffer jacket and matching pants.
Thai actor and Burberry ambassador Bright Vachirawit also made an appearance at the event, proving his brand favouritism.
Other notable attendees included Amelia Dimoldenberg, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Olivia Colman, Gabrielle Union, and Jerry Hall. The blend of stellar fashion and star power capped off London Fashion Week with a bang. Watch the complete lineup, here.
