The theatre, known for its Brutalist style, was rendered a modern touch thanks to artist Gary Hume, who draped the stage in a vibrant teal fabric. The result? Daniel Lee, Burberry’s creative director since 2022, blended nostalgia and innovation in his latest collection. He turned the classic trench coat into a cool cape and brought back the cargo pants. The collection had feathers, sequins, and ruffles on sturdy fabrics, creating a look that’s both elegant and practical.
The classic Burberry checkers made a subtle appearance, a nod to the brand’s history while keeping things fresh. The designer kept things low-key with subtle shades, letting classic details sneak in through skinny scarves, belts, and bags. Scheduled on the final day of London Fashion Week, Burberry’s Summer 2025 show attracted a bevy of stars, making it the hottest ticket in town. Barry Keoghan and Jodie Turner-Smith were among the A-list attendees, each making their own fashion statement. Turner-Smith stole the show in a Burberry check kilt with a thigh-high slit that could have caused a few dropped jaws.
