From ‘French Omelette’ To ‘Crème Brûlée’: 7 Hearty French Recipes Inspired By ‘Emily In Paris’ That You’ll Want To Devour.

8-Hearty-French-Recipes

Besides fashion, Emily Cooper loves to eat – and, so do we. Though her time and life choices in the French capital of Paris were questioned by many, the best thing that the famous Netflix show ‘Emily In Paris’ brought us foodie fans was the French culinary exhibit. All thanks to our favourite hot chef, Gabriel! Although complicated, Gabriel is Emily’s downstairs neighbour and a talented chef. He might look simple (at first), but his dishes are surely not. Also, it might have taken our local chef a while to finally own his restaurant in Season 2 (of course with Ms. Cooper’s help), but since the beginning, he has been the Al Pacino of cooking. Gabriel’s dream of getting his new restaurant, L’Espirit de Gigi a Michelin Star finally turn into reality by the end of Season 3.

From making Emily try his meat (ahem) to gifting our American gal his omelette pan, Gabriel played by Lucas Bravo had us all enchanted throughout the three seasons so much so that we’d surely, “bon appétit him!” Also, let’s not forget Pierre Cadault (his eccentric persona) and his odd obsession with cracking Crème Brûlées when depressed. You might have to visit the city of love to find your real-life Gabriel but you surely don’t have to wait when craving French food. That said, we have curated a list of iconic recipes you can make at home whenever your heart desires a piece.

[Fun Fact: Gabriel’s restaurant in ‘Emily in Paris’ is in real life an Italian eatery called Terra Nera
